I’d like to think I have pretty decent critical thinking skills, so I wouldn’t just fall for mindless propaganda. But I can’t even watch the dinner scene in “The Half of It” without getting up to get a Dr. Pepper bc Paul’s mom’s got one.

bluesky is still struggling to be a place where i can hear about breaking news and, maybe more importantly, breaking memes. it has its own memes for sure, but it is, for better or worse, detached from a broader internet culture, and i'm hoping that will change

It's great to see so many academics and some journalists moving to Bluesky. I think another key to cementing Twitter/X's irrelevance is to get politicians out of there and over here too.
