december is just a haze of blurbs. constant blurb writing. i know i’ll eventually finish all my end-of-year list blurbs, but until then the word “blurb” itself is going to feel like a spell someone cast on me

adrienne is an absolute force to be reckoned with, in the books business and beyond. hearst and esquire are worse off without her taste and curation, as well as her reporting and editing skills. but, knowing her talents, i look forward to seeing her remarkable work elsewhere.
