new pub alert ⚠️ did you know that there are currently no evidence-based eating disorder interventions that provide
explicit guidelines for treating co-occurring AN/AAN and suicidality? in this new (open access) article, we demonstrate how idiographic networks could be used to address this gap.
Using network analysis to personalize treatment for individuals with co-occurring restrictive eating disorders and suicidality: a proof-of-concept study - Journal of Eating Disorders

Eating disorders are among the deadliest mental health conditions & they often become chronic.

Yet Trump’s HHS is cutting eating disorder research & the MAHA report doesn’t mention them.

This isn’t just suppressing science - it’s a decision that will cost lives.

Eating disorder research defunded despite MAHA focus on chronic conditions
Experts on eating disorders like anorexia worry that research funding cuts mean patients won't get the care they need.

had such an awesome time at #ICED2025! truly inspiring to be a part of this conference with so many incredible researchers, clinicians, and educators.
@laurenharris.bsky.social presented an incredible meta-analysis of 600+ studies of predictors of ED onset, maintenance, and recovery. Even "strong" Single predictors were weakly related to outcomes.

We will not stand down. We will continue to fight so that people do not die and lose their joy because of eating disorders.

Can you help us fight back in the face of tyranny so we can continue our forward momentum?

Please give & share - any little bit helps

Women comprise up to 80% of psychology graduate students, yet women represent 65.1% of assistant professorships, 56.5% of associate professorships, and 42.8% of full professorships. These numbers are a lot worse at the intersection of gender x race. 1/4
