Sat night in Deal watching Night of the Hunter in the local art gallery.

A genius film 10/10 - easily in my top 5 of all time. Excellent Sat night entertainment 👌

What the fuck happened to the Labour Party?*

I'm so saddened by this awful news. I've gladly given Bookseller Crow lots of my disposable income over the years & been grateful to have it nearby.

Jonathan's approval of book choices was hard won-he had great taste & a reserved demeanor. It was a win to make him laugh.

Love to his family 💔
Really sad news.

Jonathan was a mensch and Bookseller Crow is a joy.

How can you be humbled by accepting an honour? It's the very opposite of a humble act isn't it?

I have just whimsically mowed paths through my no-mow May lawn.
Which may be the first time I've ever done anything whimsically

'The 5 families'! That's what right wing Tories are calling themselves.

I couldn't roll my eyes harder. They're more interested in self aggrandizing amateur dramatics than thinking about the actual people involved in these terrible situations

Thanks so much to everyone who came along to Bookseller Crow last night. They now have loads of signed Concretopias and copies of A Child’s Christmas in Croydon in stock
