Earnest post, but: a thing I like here is it’s okay to have moments of happiness in public without being broadly scolded, and I believe that sustaining this kind of humanity will be very important as we resist fascism.

I speak to everyone when I say protect Brown v. Board of Education. The whole attack on education is really an attack on these landmark SCOTUS decisions.

I took my kids trick or treating and I felt it in the air. We were going to lose the election. Neighbors were not neighborly. There were political hats worn intentionally, unironically. There was noted guffaws at the array of choices for treats to meet every type of trick or treater. I felt it.

All voted knowing what was to come. I cannot be convinced otherwise. Per Squid Game, we’re at the part where everyone willingly rejoins the game, knowing the dire consequences. They did not vote for trump as much as they voted for themselves. Pawns thinking they’re exceptions.

So many people riddled with how their neighbor is doing better than they are not realizing most people are living in credit mirages. This is why student debt was a sore spot. Why do they get their debt relieved and credit card debt remains? It wasn’t the economy. It was envy.

i repeat.. do not waste time on seminars and navel gazing. prepare to defend immigrants, protect Trump's political enemies, lawyer up, find sympathetic courts, start new media outlets espec locally. get public officials to pledge noncompliance with unconstitutional, inhumane action. ACT!

I think we need to examine how much influencer culture affected our collective. TradWives, Family Bloggers, DIY etc all played a role in molifying what a vote for Trump meant.
