This is why we fight for equal rights. There is no discriminating when a rule is enforced. The idea that the administration will pick and choose good from bad was a fever dream.

They spoke about this in pieces but not as a whole. The 14th amendment is responsible for public education so the whole “getting rid of the Department of Education” was a bit of an indicator- among many.

I can love and still not respect. I can have fond memories and choose to close chapters. I’m preparing myself to challenge what’s ahead and maintain boundaries. My circle will be smaller and be defined by the America I want. If they want to take part in that, they are always welcome.
