I once thought bluesky might be a good alternative to facebook. but after a year, I’m no longer sure. the settings somehow make me want to post only very hermetic, self-contained things — and that doesn’t make much sense. so probably I’ll just stay here. as a reader.

By now, the pattern should be clear. Every major platform follows the same playbook: open, grow, close, monetize. My personal belief is that ChatGPT is the next distribution platform. I think it will happen within the next 6 months (and possibly faster). #chatgpt #brianbalfour #socialmedia

Fascists have no sense of humor and hate being ridiculed - this is exactly the right tactic to use against them. And if they turn violent (which is what they're looking for an excuse to do) and start attacking people in animal costumes, they'll just look even more ridiculous.
