We are still collecting data for this! Please consider playing our minigame and providing feedback 💖 #gaming #research
We are working on an ongoing research project related to esports training. For this study, we made a minigame that we would like you to test & provide feedback here:
survey2.fi.muni.cz/index.php?r=... (or scan the QR). We estimate it will take between 30 mins to 1 hr max #gaming #esports #research

Today has an auspicious beginning as I witnessed three young girls singing "golden" from kpop demon hunters on the tram. It was adorable #kpopdemonhunters #lovelyday

I'm writing an article about the impact of delisting games on queer creators.

If anyone is willing to share a comment to be included in the piece, or maybe a screenshot of your delisted games, I'd appreciate it!

(I think I have the data I need at the moment otherwise.)

Feel free to share!

Chatbots — LLMs — do not know facts and are not designed to be able to accurately answer factual questions. They are designed to find and mimic patterns of words, probabilistically. When they’re “right” it’s because correct things are often written down, so those patterns are frequent. That’s all.

My latest for American Scientist Magazine helps give scientists the tools to fight back against politicized charges that our research is silly or pointless- tools that will work whether you’re asked “why are we funding this” from your asshole uncle at Thanksgiving or an asshole US Senator.

“Why Are We Funding This?”
Long-standing myths about “silly science” have contributed to the reckless slashing of government-supported research.

Call for speakers - It is the last round (deadline 31 March 2025). We need more speakers with focus on #UX and #GUR :) but also academics who would like to share their research with the game industry. #game #industry #conference #speaker
Call for speakers with relevant #game industry experience is open at Game Access conference (game-access.com/conference/c...). I would like especially encourage speakers with a focus on #UX and #GUR but also academics who would like to share their research with the game industry.

Hi, one of my students looking for participants for her survey.. it is about reading books and to take notes. It is very short questionnaire, but necessary for her requirement analysis for her master thesis. If you have time, we are happy for each participant 🙂 : forms.office.com/pages/respon...

If we’re renaming bodies of water based on petty grievances, I propose that this be renamed the Kendrick Lamar passage.

I honestly believe our most powerful position in a toxic time that feeds on cynicism, apathy,& despair is to genuinely care and act for a better world.

Cynicism is our enemy. We should check it, incl. on the left. It’s not intellectually superior. It’s the virus they’re trying to infect us with. NO
