In case anyone was wondering how much consultation @langleytownship.bsky.social had with the animal shelter, they notified the #LAPS team yesterday, which is also the same day they posted a job listing for their in-house replacements.

Pierre Poilievre says he'd shut down overdose prevention sites if elected. These sites fall under provincial jurisdiction. Yesterday Health Minister Josie Osborne said, to paraphrase: 'lol you will absolutely not shut these life-saving sites down. Try me.'

Absolutely shameful that CTV caved to a disingenuous right-wing pressure campaign instead of standing their ground. It presents even more red flags about the state of the media in Canada.
