Today, after months of requests, I toured the Broadview ICE Processing Facility. I want to share what I saw.
The facility has no food vendor, no medical care, and detainees have to use toilets in the middle of shared cells. These are in no way suitable conditions to be holding anyone — period.

It's a shame to see xenophobia and scapegoating on the rise just about everywhere, but these are great moments to build stronger communities, especially in-person. Online spaces are infested w/ cowards who try to incite hatred. To whatever extent, ignore, block, their opinions are worthless anyway.

I'm not sure if others were annoyed by this, but I didn't like how Frankenstein ended with a Byron quote. Especially after so many things were changed about the original novel, it would've been nice to take a quote from the novel itself or another quote from Mary Shelley. Weird choice imho.

Biking around today and soaking up the autumn vibes was so good. The crunch of the leaves, the oranges yellows and reds, the slight coolness in the air, but not so cold you need layers. love love love it!

We had so much fun playing in costume that we've already booked out MoguMogu again for Halloween next year! (the 31st!) Hope you all have an amazing Halloween...although in this weather, maybe just snuggled up with some yummy treats and some scary movies.
