REMINDER: The Tories refused to get an OBR forecast before their disastrous mini-Budget.

That resulted in them crashing the economy, which sent mortgages rocketing. They still haven't apologised.

This is consistent with Farage’s support for Enoch Powell whose 1968 ‘rivers of blood’ speech was provoked by Labour’s 2nd Race Relations Act which was extended to various matters including employment. In the speech Powell confirmed he didn’t believe non-whites could be British even if born here.

You can’t get the Brexit people voted for because it doesn’t exist. It was a con. A prejudiced, arrogant fantasy created by a cynical campaign of dishonesty.

This is however the relentless, tedious Brexit reality. An ongoing national scandal. A betrayal of a country by its politicians and media.
I don’t think we’ve got the Brexit people voted for. Our traders face a daily nightmare getting goods across the border.

Here’s one example of just why. Toby Ovens of Broughton Transport told us about the 26 stamps he needs on loads of forms. To move one trailer across the Channel…

🚨🇪🇺 Brexit WOW moment 🇪🇺🚨

The Brexitgraph Telegraph published a full-blown obituary for Brexit:

📉 GDP down 8%
📉 Investment down 18%
📉 Productivity down 4%
📉 Employment down 4%
❌ No trade benefits
❌ No regulatory freedom
❌ No upside whatsoever

Do you agree it’s time to end Brexit?

Carole Cadwalladr is one of the most valuable journalists of our times - she was the first to spot the unholy alliance between big tech & the far right, & she did great work exposing the links between Brexit & Putin's regime (for which she paid a heavy personal price).

This will be a must-watch.
Tomorrow's episode is going to be a big one...

“It seems unlikely not to have occurred to [Farage] that the reason he is so popular… is that so many people have had enough not just of people like Zahawi, but in this case, people who literally are Zahawi”

Here’s to hoping their piss-taking opportunism does for them both.

You mean adding an unpopular politician who fiddled his taxes and claimed public money to heat his horses who stood down before the 2024 GE because the party he was in was so deeply unpopular didn’t help make Reform UK more popular?

I am shocked.

Shocked, I tell you.

People are seeing the defection of the most corrupt from the Tory party (Zahawi said he would never leave it 😂) because the Tory party isn’t going to be the gravy train it has proved to be in the past. They’re looking for a party which will facilitate their grift. ReformUK is a party of grifters.
Can't quite explain why but I feel that the Zahawi défection isn't the positive Farage thinks it is.

"[Farage's] presence felt like constant noise. The persona he had adopted was destructive and intolerant of anything non-British. He wasn’t very good at anything – no great orator, charismatic, or engaging. Being vitriolic was the only way he’d get noticed."

So, he was then *exactly* who he is now.

A few things that people don't seem to understand about the Grok/X/Musk issue.

Firstly, the ability to create misogynist content, CSAM etc is a *feature*, not a bug. This isn't an accident, an oversight, some rogues finding an unfortunate use for an otherwise benign tool. It's how it works.
