Irrespective of the potential US threat, rejoining our “home” market must be the common-sense way to go.
Trump-proof Britain's Trade
Liberal Democrats want to turbocharge our economy by forming a Customs Union with the EU, tearing down the trade barriers and red tape holding us back.

The Conservatives are using the victims of this scandal as a political football.

Liberal Democrats will be putting forward an amendment to take real action to tackle the child sex abuse scandal, by implementing the recommendations from the national independent inquiry in full.

💥 Big news: MPs have just voted in favour of PR!

Thank you to Sarah Olney for her brilliant speech, and to the 138 MPs who backed the bill.

This is just the first step - but it's great to see so much cross-party support for a political system where all voices are heard 💪💯

Blasphemy laws are never justifiable.

Blasphemy laws run contrary to human rights, encourage inter-community grievances, and are correlated with religious violence around the world.

Such laws should remain in the history books, never to return.
