On this day, forty five years ago, The Sisters of Mercy performed their first ever gig at the University of York.
The very first logo of The Sisters, hand drawn by Andrew Eldritch Craig Adams, Andrew Eldritch and Gary Marx, 1981 A precious and rare review of that first gig. It mentions the two support acts to The Thompson Twins, the Sisters and Able Kars who both seemed to fail to engage the audience. "Maybe Sisters of Mercy opened up a bit gloomily, suitably bleak and industrial, featuring the mandatory drum machine."

r/analytics • IOh We just found out our AI has been making up analytics data for 3 months and I'm gonna throw up. Support So we've been using an Al agent since November to answer leadership questions about metrics. It seemed amazing at first fast answers, detailed explanations, everyone loved it. I just found out it's been hallucinating numbers this entire time. Our VP of sales made territory decisions based on data that didn't exist. Our CFO showed the board a deck with fake insights. The Al was just inventing plausible sounding percentages. I only caught it by accident when someone asked me to double check something. I started digging, and holy shit, it's bad.

The Mirage Manor decided to extend an invite to @ladypenelope.bsky.social to visit. During a break in the tour, Lady York was left in the company of Aria, who was on display, possibly as punishment yet again, tormented by a devious toy locked in place under a belt!

Aria is stood in her red catsuit, inside a class display case. A one-bar prison is used to hold her legs in place, with the pole extending up to a chastity belt fixed around her underbust corseted waist and groin. Her arms are trapped in a tight armbinder, while a posture collar holds her head still. A gwen hood encases her head, and her cheeks are red. In front of her is a machine saying "Edge Mode Enabled" allowing the belt to torment her. Penelope is sat next to the display case, in a chair, clad in thigh length boots, a tight overbust corset, latex tights, a delicate collar around her neck and armpit length gloves, all in red, with gold trim, reading a small book and cradling a glass of wine, with a devious grin on her face.
