A couple more thoughts having digested Oh No, Not Them:
I've come to think the biggest issue isn't that it's overly American, it's that it was produced for the launch-era Fox network, tailored for the audience to go "whoop whoop whoop" etc.

I'm not sure about Bubble Bobble Sugar Dungeons, which seems, like Bubble Bobble 4 Friends, to be another somewhat childish puzzle game using Bubble Bobble mechanics.
But it comes with Bubble Symphony, which is AWESOME.
(Still probably not worth £45 for the deluxe edition...)

Spoke with a source who told me the call volume is so high, a call center for both Mastercard & Visa is bringing out pizza and ice cream so agents don’t quite amid the rush. Long waits are causing dropped calls.
