"Wall of Leaves" from November 2022. In 2024 this property changed hands and the new owners ripped out all of these vines, leaving a bare wall. I'm very glad I have a memento of the time when this annual display was a neighborhood showpiece. ❤️🧡❤️

Good morning, Friends ~ Autumn continues to dazzle me on our morning walks. This one is from two years ago today but it looks exactly the same this morning: Leaves showing off their finery as a final curtain call before they gracefully let go to make way for winter. 🧡

9 years ago today I was mocked for calling the day of DJT's election the "11/9 tragedy." Scoffed at for implying that his election would change us as profoundly and cause as much suffering and destruction as did the 9/11 tragedy. A relative called me "emotional."
