one function of capitalism is to funnel these types into positions of power, because if competent & kind people get into power they start taking from the rich and giving to the poor. capitalist leaders must be either evil or ignorant or both, only by mistake does anyone else get near power

Unfortunately if the economy is capitalist it doesn’t actually matter how rational the people at the top are, the economy will boom and bust. The only way to stop this is a managed economy
