Why docs fail: Good docs are time consuming to develop and maintain. If the 'why' isn't captured, new teams re-learn old lessons. People don't update docs. LLMs draft/refactor, but only if you have structured truth + metadata. Full playbook 👇

Quick guide to RAG platforms:
LlamaIndex — prototype fast, full control
LangChain — multi-agent orchestration
Pinecone/Weaviate — high-volume vector storage
Azure/Vertex RAG — regulated enterprise

"We already have docs" ≠ ready for agents.

Real process = spaghetti:
• Approval loops
• Threshold triggers
• Friday cutoffs
• The "ask Sam" step

If your map doesn't show where humans MUST approve, it's not real.

Agents need workflow truth, not fantasy.

Your agents are only as good as your documentation.

If the "why" behind decisions never got captured, if your process maps don't show approval loops, if pages are 5000 words of everything — your agents will hallucinate, skip steps, and sound incompetent. open.substack.com/pub/kylematt...

Copilots assist. RPA repeats. Agents think.
Part 1 of The Agentic Enterprise breaks down how to tell them apart—and where to actually trust autonomy.

AI workslop is real but the problem is bad management. LLMs aren’t magic tools, they’re junior teammates. ICs have to step into the manager’s chair: set outcomes, decompose tasks, write briefs, coach, fact-check, and package. That’s a skill gap.

The Future of ICs Is Management (of AIs)
TL;DR: Most “AI slop” comes from treating models like magic tools instead of junior teammates.

While everyone is focusing on Canada not wanting to become the 51st state remember Republicans would never approve, it would clearly favor the Democratic Party and the US would no longer be a 50/50 nation. Don’t fall for the distractions. @mcuban.bsky.social @cnn.com @msnbc.com @maddow.msnbc.com

Assistant President Trump isn’t forgetting history, he’s ignorant of it and there’s a critical difference.

Nescire autem quid ante quam natus sis acciderit, id est semper esse puerum.

#CanadaWillBeFine supply chains will adjust, domestic production will increase, new trade partners will emerge, and when #AssistantPresidentTrump decides to stop this Humpty Dumpty won’t be put back together again.

RONALD REAGAN (1988): We should be aware of the demagogues who are ready to declare a trade war against our friends, weakening our economy, our national security, and the entire free world—all while cynically waving the American flag.

@squawkstreet.bsky.social Cramer says buy #tsla because it’s a domestic company? Explain that when the core domestic consumer base is reacting to President Elon’s actions and foreign markets will target #tesla for retaliation to #AssistantPresidentTrump tariffs 🤣🤣🤣 @mcuban.bsky.social HELP!!!

One of my party facts is that according to polls, Americans believe foreign aid is about 25% of the federal budget and on average that it *should* be about 10%.

The actual number is less than 1%.

Foreign aid has long been a boogey man of the right, so it's not surprising they're vilifying it now.

The most fascinating thing about this mess is watching the @squawkstreet.bsky.social team try to make sense of this.

Listening to a commentator during the #psu #smu game say “I’m not sure we’re seeing the second best team in the ACC…” how many teams do we need if you’re now arguing over the second best team in the ACC… how many blowouts do we need for Christmas?

I’m looking forward to the day when I open BlueSky and it’s not full of wow I’m so glad to be off Twitter.

Have we decided what to call BlueSkys? BS? BlueSky makes me think of birds and Tweets is available, just saying.

Honest question: why do people hate AI? Is it:
A) Not useful
B) Threatens creativity
C) They took our jobs!
D) Dangerous
E) Overhyped snake oil
F) All of the above
G) Something else?
H) I love it, what’s to hate?

I get the annoyance of slapping “AI” on everything, but I’m curious—what’s your take?
