In advance of the Oscars tonight: a lot of comedy heroes let you down. They become unfunny/bitter/closed minded. Conan is the exception. He has grown & evolved & is funnier than he’s ever been. He’s also an extremely kind and lovely human. Just a sincere post to say: Conan rules.

Roberta Flack & Peabo Bryson's "Born to Love" album is a high point of 80s balladry and the song "Tonight I Celebrate My Love" was a staple of Days of Our Lives broadcasts -- I think it was Shane & Kayla's song? Anyway, that and the album "Oasis" are some later Flack records richly worth your time
