I fantasize about finding the agent who falls in love with my novel and then gasps with joy when I reveal the two short story collections and other novel I have in my stable. #writingcommunity #dreamalittledream

That USC-Notre Dame game was 🔥 but I’m still thinking about WVU beating Duke with 5 players in a haunted ballroom a week ago. Love to see a team win against all odds. #NCAAWBB

Bike commuting in pouring rain is hard enough without drivers randomly veering into the bike lane, turning right on red where it’s clearly marked to not do that, and looking at their 🤬 phones. #Portland #gobybike

Are the lying liars finally being called out for lying 🤞?
STEPHANOPOULOS: I didn't insinuate anything. I asked you whether Tom Homan accepted $50k as was heard on an audio tape recorded by the FBI in September 2024. You did not answer the question. Thank you for your time.

VANCE: No, George, I sai--

The force of the AI advertising reminds me of the collect call campaigns of the early 90s. Ads everywhere for a product we don’t need. May AI go the way of 1-800-collect🤞

I also hope we don’t forget all the local folks who’ve spent years spreading the “portland is a hellhole” narrative to gain short-term political power and/or social media clout.

They provided ammo to the Trump machine. They fed the false narrative and now the chickens are coming home to roost.

Really trying to focus on the positives: my novel got a full manuscript request by a terrific agent. She ultimately passed but at least I know my query letter is solid. Rejection gets a little easier but sometimes it hits hard 🙁#writingcommunity #amquerying

It is remarkable and astonishing that the entire apparatus of the Republican party -- the entire organization and every single person who is part of it -- has been converted into a cover-up operation to protect a single pedophile rapist.

Is that why these Republicans went into politics? Really?

Democrats: What do we need to do to win back disillusioned voters?

Voters: Stand up to Trump and fight him like our lives depend on it.

Democrats: Alienate our base while we chase bros who will never vote for us. Got it.

Voters: That's not-

Democrats: Can you give us five dollars right now?
