I'll say one pretty simply: If a capital group, a private equity firm, a company that seems like it's a company but basically acts like a equity firm (EA comes to mind, there's others), buys a place, that place is DEAD. DEAD, people. Archive Team doesn't "Wait and see" or "hope for the best". We GO!

I prefer Mastodon but BlueSky is at least conscious of the need to function in the case of a celebrity with 100M followers being on the app and I’m not even talking about traffic, just the UX of the social media manager who makes a post and sees 1M likes and 20’000 replies roll in over the next hour

Bought a 16GB DDR4 SODIMM at Cex for £20. It disgusts me that Windows is scraping an 8GB ceiling even when I’m so RAM-conscious already — I use Firefox with heavy content blocking, tab unloading and an already slimmed down Windows install
