It was literally never a problem on CRTs and when there existed no other 60Hz stuff anywhere except PCs which few people had in the early 90s. Only in the modern era of PCs and YouTube comparison videos have people been turning their nose up at PAL

Goes to show how cavernous the C64’s RAM was, even a full bitmap display was just 9KB, still leaving 55KB! (24KB is shadowed so harder to use, but not impossible)

No clear picture of the bottom? (did I miss it?) Do you have a QR code for the instructions anywhere? It's not clear how slices are supposed to connect -- there's no bottom facing connector?

Some small recommendations:
The glass case you're presenting on makes things a bit visually cluttered -- consider putting down a paper sheet to cover the glass; It's hard to see the outline of the MMS2 on the dark glass. Likewise, a light underneath would help.

I have to say, that's an incredibly clear and concise video presentation; the opposite of what we get nowadays with product launches that do anything but get to the hard facts
