@krkappel.bsky.social created the second scenario, One for the Road, included in Arkham Mysteries. Based on this write up it appears he has expanded on the residents and locations of Arkham with this 13 scene adventure.

So, I loved #SkeletonCrew. Best #StarWars from Disney thus far IMO. That said, I'm not looking for a season 2, but I DO want more stories like that, that stand alone and have that same fun adventure tone. And I do want to see some of these characters show up again.

Looks great, they kept the same vibes from the netflix show, looks like season 4 to me. The one line that suggests a pause in activity would seem at odds with Matt's she hulk appearance, but I assume the show will answer that.

Looks great, they kept the same vibes from the netflix show, looks like season 4 to me. The one line that suggests a pause in activity would seem at odds with Matt's she hulk appearance, but I assume the show will answer that.

Skeleton crew was truly great. Easily my favorite bit of #starwars in the Disney era thus far. Fun characters that are easy to root for, a great adventure, and loads of heart.

All that fighting over the sentencing, and there's no punishment whatsoever other than having the felon tag on his record. I didn't expect jail time for this, but I did expect the maximum fine. Embarrassing outcome.

I was just having this conversation in the context of writing fiction the other day, but it applies equally to TTRPG writing. I can sit down for two hours and generate more ideas I am excited to produce than I could reasonably produce for the rest of my life. It's about finishing. Final drafts.
It is extremely common for gamers to offer to give professionals an idea, and offer to "let" the pro "finish" the work and the "split the profits."
They rarely like being told coming up with an idea or *starting* a project is not the hard part of writing.

100%. There are zero guarantees in this business, even if it looks like a "sure thing".
And even if the IP has fans and you have a marketing plan —the fans may not care about RPGs. Or the creator of the IP might turn out to be a horrible person just as you go to print. Or another licensed non-game item for the IP might hit just before yours, taking all the wind out of your sales. Or...
Yeah. I mean the upside is the licensed IP presumably has a built-in audience you have a means to market and sell your game to. If all of that isn't true, well, congrats on being wealthy enough to run that passion project at a loss.

If you're a forever GM that wants to see #TTRPG flourish in your area, talk with your local library about running a regular game for kids. Helping kids discover RPGs is a great GMing experience, and it's great for the hobby as a whole to bring in new generations of players!

If you're a forever GM that wants to see #TTRPG flourish in your area, talk with your local library about running a regular game for kids. Helping kids discover RPGs is a great GMing experience, and it's great for the hobby as a whole to bring in new generations of players!
