The sexual assault trial of 5 hockey players is over, they were found not guilty. But many of us will never be confident that justice was served. The judge mishandled the trial, dismissed the jury and the alleged victim was subjected to day after day of interrogation by 5 different legal teams.

I the chance to talk to him during his leadership bid for the Liberals back in 2015. So much passion for Canada, a thoughtful and inspiring politician. We would have been so lucky.
