It has been a year now since I start this sci-fi starship project. After a group of Initial designs last year (which I spent a lot of time for scanning for ideas), this one is pretty fast since the over all idea is solid enough.

Space Ship

Haaviq Aqui Laboratory floats in the seas of Icthara, a conservation orbital over Saturn. The ship is believed to be nearly as old as the orbital itself.

Because I'm on a procrastination rampage, here's a more typical station; you should imagine the mirror as a somewhat abstracted fresnel setup by the 'painter' (it's because I couldn't be bothered to make the geometry nodes setup for a fresnel lens...)

www.niac.usra.edu/files/studie... Detailed description on the Lunavator system can be found on page 35-45 of this report, which I strongly recommend reading in its entirety - it's wonderfully whimsical. Cable cars from the Earth to Mars!

The Lunavator is a design for a space tether system - buildable with '00s tech, no less - capable of catching payloads from their transfer orbits, reeling out some line, and gently placing them on the surface of the Moon. It'd work in reverse, too: payloads can be yoinked straight to lunar escape.

A bit more Worldbuilding Content; now including a few of the WIP ships that haven't got a rebuild yet but are good enough to hold up at a distance on a chart. Some of the missing ones are just no longer good fits for the setting or so old that they can't even be used as placeholders.

The GMH has a lot more territory to control than most inner system polities and relies on solar-thermal and solar-electric carriers and boost stages to extend the range of their warships.

These spacecraft often use O2 as propellant; volatiles are scarce down here and best used sparingly.

This time a bit of personal worldbuilding stuff in a similar faux-paint style to some of my other work. This is a 'monopod' orion (though the interior of the monopod conceals an array of multi-stage pistons).
