I discovered by chance that a video of me giving a 6-minute lightning talk about "Stones on Screen" for the annual MaynoothSparks competition in 2022 is available on YouTube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=-j2Y...
It's a brief overview of the OG(H)AM and EMILI projects.

“Some English reference books describe cynghanedd as ‘the ancient Welsh strict metres’. In so doing, they confine this most beautiful code to a prison with doors double-locked by bygone times and inflexible rules.”

A lovely introduction to cynghanedd & the Eisteddfod by Mererid Hopwood from January
The greatest poetic metre you’ve probably never heard of
Cynghanedd, the ancient Welsh art of poetic harmony, weaves rhythm, rhyme and alliteration into intricate patterns.

The German word ‘Pferd’ and its Dutch cognate ‘paard’ are horses of mixed breed parentage.

Their common ancestor came from Latin ‘paraverēdus’ (substitute post-horse), a word composed of an Ancient Greek element and a Gaulish one.

It's good to be green. We should all be trying. But you aren't the problem. Even your neighbour who drives a big wasteful vehicle and doesn't recycle - they're not really the problem, and hating them is just a distraction. These guys are the problem.
