🫖 I sometimes drink things other than tea.
No worries! Haven’t made a single purchase on Amazon since Jan 2017. No intention of ever doing so again. 😎
This holiday season, give Jeff Bezos and Amazon the gift of zero dollars. 🥰

Could not have said it better… Please stop buying from Amazon.
Amazon is helping fund a $300 million build of a ballroom for the White House.

Independent bookstores are donating to food banks and organizations that help with food insecurity.

They are not the same.

Discovered an unexpected bit of decor in our employee bathroom this morning—courtesy of an anonymous member of our team? Spooky. @artfultea.bsky.social 💀🧘🏻

So dismayed by the demolition of our democracy.

Self-soothing with knitting.

Began knitting my first pair of socks in February. Finished them in June. And now it’s FINALLY chilly enough to wear them!

(Have since finished a second pair — pics coming soon — and am now working on the third)

Yeah, us too.
Our teaware is imported from China. Our California-based supplier just notified us that prices are going up due to tariffs. Which is weird because I was assured China would pay for this.

Of course, when we pay more, our customers pay more. Our U.S. customers. Here. In America. Not China.

I'm on my way to the Senate floor to talk about the assault on my colleague, Senator Alex Padilla.

This is a horrifying moment in our nation’s history.

Thank goodness for the iris that stop me in my tracks enough to forget—for a few moments—all the things in the world I’m dismayed by, and remind me there is also incredible beauty right outside my door.

Exactly.
Nothing Donald Trump could do at this point will reveal anything further about his weakness of character. But the character of the Republicans who go along with him? Who refuse to speak up amidst the unrelenting corruption. More is being revealed about them every minute.

Ages 0-4 are the most important, emotionally & intellectually, in human development.

Yet, in the US, we have a very high rate of childhood poverty and a broken child care system.

Congratulations to New Mexico for leading the way forward for high quality, free child care. Other states must follow.
