Oh god I’m so happy more people are saying this. As a Black person, I deeply agree. Please be aware of the difference!!!
I need a lot of trans people, especially trans mascs, to realise that "degendering" isn't just a new word for "misgendering". Degendering is a word for being thrown out of your gender without being treated as your agab. "Regendering" is often what you're looking for, instead.
