Making my @rollingstone.com debut writing about Monolith's incredible F.E.A.R. and how the story's meaning has kind of gotten lost over the years.

Alma isn't F.E.A.R.'s villain. Armacham and the people that made her are. She's as much a victim as anyone else, a spirit of vengeance made, not born.

I've always loved oral histories, so it was pretty cool to sit down with the AlbionTV crew and... basically tell the story of AlbionTV. This took a long time to come together, and I'm pretty proud of it.
Spotlight: The Story of AlbionTV
This week, the AlbionTV crew turn the spotlight on themselves, with a special stream coming up on Friday, October 17 at 20:00 UTC where they’ll take a look back at their history as the game& ...

Ok, Battlefield 6 is officially awesome. Find out why in my review for @ign.com . If you watch the video version you even get to see my smiling face in a little interview at the end. Win/win!

Dan is an incredible editor, and if ever there was a jersey that needs to be hung from the IGN rafters, it's his. His uncompromising expectation as an editor have made me much better writer, and I'm so thankful to have had the chance to work with him periodically over the last few years.
So, a bit of an announcement: I'm retiring. My last day at IGN will be Oct 1; after that I'll be a full-time dad for a bit while my kids are of an age where they'll think spending time with me is cool rather than lame. It's been a huge honor and privilege to run reviews here for the past 12.5 years.

Well folks, I have some personal news. I've officially quit my very normal day job, and have accepted a full time job in the video game industry. Without going too deep on details just yet, I'll be writing a lot, playing a lot of games, and still be able to freelance on the side.
