Beschämend in der Debatte über den Umgang mit der AfD: Kaum wer berücksichtigt in der Argumentation die Gruppen, die von Rechtsextremisten bedroht werden.
Man bringt’s fertig, sich in AfD-Wähler und deren Ängste hineinzudenken, und zeigt null Empathie für die, die tatsächlich verfolgt werden.

Am Montag gilt es! Die Klasse 5c fährt ins Hamburger Rathaus, um eine Unterschriftenliste zu übergeben, damit ihre Mitschülerin Chanelia bleiben darf. Sie soll abgeschoben werden. Nun bleibt nur noch Härtefallkommission.

Der 12-jährigen Chanelia aus Hamburg droht die Abschiebung. Ihre Mitschüler:innen kämpfen mit ihrer Klassenlehrerin dafür, dass sie bleiben darf.

The math here is simple. Republicans have passed a budget framework where very large cuts to Medicaid will have to occur. Now, they are preemptively shifting the blame for those cuts to Governors, who cannot engage in deficit spending.
All of this is for a regressive tax cut.

Austin Scott previews how House Rs plan to cut Medicaid: "The federal govt is paying 90% of the Medicaid expansion. What we've talked about is moving that 90% level of the expansion back... nobody would be kicked off Medicaid as long as governors decided they wanted to continue to fund the program"
