I wanted to share probably the most important sermon I’ve given and it’s while I’m being arrested. It’s torture pure and simple what happens at #Broadview. I’m ok, though I was thrown to the ground and choked with my pectoral cross. A review of the video shows I was peaceful - did I deserve this?

Tin foil hat time: I think ending SNAP benefits, increasing healthcare costs, and a gov't shutdown with missed paychecks are all intentional. These, along with an increasingly aggressive policing posture, are intended to create civil unrest.

Their cruelty and desire for power know no bounds.

How is this not an SNL skit yet, where the reporters report the sky is blue, water is wet, and Johnson just denies it all.
Q: What's your reaction to yesterday's purge of senior ICE officials? When is it time for Congress to do some oversight?

MIKE JOHNSON: I don't know any of the details of that yet. I just heard about that, literally I was walking in.

Elites do not care about “democracy” except inasmuch as they support any system of social organization in which they personally are elites. Now that they’ve figured out they can maintain their elevated status without democracy, they will all shrug and go about their frictionless lives.

As a historian, I can certify that we are in the bad times. But bad times eventually end.
In the meantime:
• Figure out a small way to help someone
• Figure out a small way to fight back
• Figure out a small place to find joy
• Figure out a small way to grow and thrive

And do it often.

Another pie attempt. This was oxtail and Guinness with lots of onions. The gravy was sensational could drink it by the mug.

Chait, Klein, et al., you all sound just like this.
Hassett: "China has stopped buying US soybeans. The silos are full and there are soybeans sitting on the ground w/tarps over them. That's unacceptable to POTUS. We're calling up our soybean customers around the world as part of our trade negotiations & we'll strong policies to support our farmers"

They fired me unjustly for speaking the truth.

But I’ll never stop talking about my friend, writer, and amazing human, Jamal Khashoggi.
