I'm just tired. I hate that site rot has accelerated so much that it feels like we have to uproot and move house every six months. I'm trying to make efforts to fully inform myself instead of joining whenever I see angry reactionaries while doomscrolling but I'm still not great at it.

I'll concede I might not have done my due-diligence on this one. Hate that all this is pushed under the same word but the last thing I want to be is the kid freaking out over "AI" in my video games when it just means NPC pathfinding tech we've had since Pong.

Your competitor is being investigated and talks are had of banning it entirely for AI CSAM. Announcing this in the wake of that is certainly a decision.
