Russian intelligence uses GenAI for the same reason companies do - productivity.
The difference? Their output is disinformation and cyber attacks. And they use YOUR AI tools because they can't build their own.

Getting rid of threat hunting increases government efficiency, just not for the US government.
Big cuts are coming soon to the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, per multiple reports, including layoffs of roughly a third of the workforce (Politico says much more) and terminations of major threat-hunting contracts.
