I'm chronically ill. I limped into voting all D on election day & then you screwed me. If it doesn't matter why am I voting except for president or local? Yeah no. You're all hated. You're not even the lesser of 2 evils. You just want the sweet donor funds from grocery stores & airlines.

I have a bad back & dragged in a 81 lb box the other day so now my 16 & 20 lb cats are jumping on me to try & get fed earlier. Love my cats but they are serious dicks. They 100% know when they can cause pain.

It’s a long shot but did anyone here who loves on the lower east side in nyc lose their cat? My niece found this clearly domesticated cat hiding under a car. They’ve frantically tied to find his owner for 36 hrs but no luck.

So Saturday night with @vesta93.bsky.social on the grill. Marinated grilled chicken thighs. Bacon roasted potatoes with sour cream & chives. Over roasted asparagus bc I messed up the timing (still tasty though). Had to hold the asparagus. I'll post the power bowl i prepped tomorrow. Tired tonight.

So my menu for tomorrow is pretty much set. Grilled marinated chicken thighs. Duck fat roasted potatoes. Roasted asparagus. Then for the leftover chicken a Mediterranean farro bowl (tomatoes, cucumbers, feta, red onions) w/tzatziki dressing & crisping up the chicken skin for texture.

I guess my broccoli soup passed muster. My daughter made it through 6 of 7 pints of it in 9 days (I got 1). Have a quart of split pea & 1 or 2 pints of cheese & beer soup in the freezer but she's itching for lentil. Next week.
