The man did not pull a gun. He had a gun in his waistband which he had a permit to carry. It was the ice agent who pulled the gun out of his waistband and then shot him. Probably with his own gun

We've had abuses by federal officers before, and institutional endemic abuse by small local police forces. But the combination of ICE's huge expanse and reach on the one hand and apparently institutionalized abuse and disregard for the Constitution is to my memory without precedent.

Every single woman who has stood up to a toxic man or abuser has heard that phrase, fucking bitch. We all know what that means and that a fact that the woman was shot because she challenged his authority is the reason why many women stay. We'd rather be alive.

It is amazing to realize that all AI helpers from all the major tech companies have female names, female voices, and are meant to be helpful and subservient. What are we training a generation of men and women to expect from their female companions?
