This is such an amazing thread! Please read - a vaccine developed to fight breast cancer! A vaccine! Please don’t let obtuse governments stop cancer research!
“ABC11 spoke with Lori Lober, a study participant. Initially, she was given a grim prognosis, with median survival rate of less than 2 to 3% for five years. However, the trial at Duke Health gave her new hope. She has remained disease-free for 24 years.”

I could cry.

Someone in Germany is shedding poliovirus - a crippling disease which should be eradicated.

This is another stark reminder of the risks we face when global vaccination coverage slips.

Yikes. Well at least the UCP got rid of photo radar, loosened rules on slowing down when passing emergency vehicles, and want to increase the speed limit on major highways...😐

Sadly, these are just statistics to some people -- until they're not.

Danielle Smith & her government are going after the most vulnerable folks in our province, they are attacking children. Denying trans kids the treatment they deserve leads to the unimaginable: depression, self harm. Trans families deserve so much better from us all. Where’s the UCP’s humanity?!? 🏳️‍⚧️

How are we supposed to go about our day as if the government was not about to wield the notwithstanding clause like an axe to hack away the fundamental human rights and dignity of vulnerable youth just to lock down the support of bigots at next week’s UCP AGM? Asking for a province. 🏳️‍⚧️

Sad but true. Except for Tommy Douglas, that fellow had his priorities straight. We need more folks like him.
Why is Andrew Scheer relevant? Like PP, he's the guy who doesn't know when to leave the party, probably because he's unemployable outside of politics.

Good morning.

If you live in Alberta, you should know that today your government will invoke the notwithstanding clause to wage war against transgender Albertans.

Not because transgender persons are harmful, but because the UCP is distracting you from their mountain of failures.
