The Trump administration and Republicans in Congress have weaponized the rescissions tool to defund their perceived political enemies – public radio, Sesame Street, and starving children overseas.

This vote was a test case for the months ahead.

This is yet another attempt by the Trump admin to block wind and solar. This keeps cheap, clean power off our grid, so your bills go up and reliability goes down.

I think Putin and Trump are about equal in their disregard for their citizens. Putin has just been at it longer. Trump lusts after Putin's I'll-gotten wealth.
At what point does Putin start caring about his own economy with 21% interest rates and the loss of nearly a million young men.

The so-called “moderate” GOP position on Medicaid cuts is no cuts above $500 billion.

Hello? That would mean 18 million children and 2 million adults with disabilities lose health care coverage, according to the latest estimates.

What’s “moderate” about that?

I just think it’s funny that the president thinks making everything more expensive will be no big deal in a nation that exists because its ancestors overthrew their government rather than pay an extra tax on tea

Chuck Schumer makes it to the New Yorker cartoon section. And not in a good way. Chuck, this is your legacy unless you seriously step up.

We fought for our independence.

We fought to end slavery.

We fought against the rise of fascism in Europe.

We fought for civil rights.

I refuse to believe we have lost the will to fight for what is right and just.

Here's some American exceptionalism for ya 👇

In America, medical bills are the most common reason for bankruptcy.

Medical bankruptcy statistics suggest that 17% of adults with health care debt had to declare bankruptcy or lose their home because of it.
