Noelle Cook arrived in DC on Jan. 6 to photograph the Stop the Steal rally, expecting to gather some images for a project in women’s and gender studies. She ended up chronicling an insurrection — and, more unexpectedly, growing close to some of the women who breached the U.S. Capitol that day.

Honestly, no better hype person than your mother.
Thank you, @vromansbookstore.bsky.social — you made her day.

I’ll be there Tuesday, January 6 at 7 PM for a conversation with Mike Rothschild about The Conspiracists: Women, Extremism, and the Lure of Belonging.

We've made a second episode of Requiem For Protest. This time we documented what happened outside the RCJ on the first day of the judicial review of the proscription of Palestine Action. Once again 100s of people taking part in the @defendourjuries.bsky.social Lift The Ban campaign were arrested.

Yes it’s true, there’s a book and a film of The Conspiracists! We’re looking forward to the U.K. theatrical release of the film in the new year. The book release is Jan 6. You can pre-order it now!
I’ve recently discovered that public libraries across the country are already carrying TheConspiracistsFilm.com. If your library doesn’t have it yet, you can request that they order it. Seattle Public Library is one example, where the film is available and the companion book is already on order.
