What kind of asshole still supports a politician after it becomes glaringly obvious they’re a pedophile?

Stop asking billionaires questions, recording their answers and sharing their uninformed and/or racist and/or otherwise bigoted and nonsense ideas as journalism. It’s ridiculous. They are the most boring people. Oh wah I am a white man who has more money than I can spend and I’m so mad about it!

The delay is deliberate. It’s strategy. Let’s make sure it absolutely backfires on them.

It’s been a brutal day for anyone with a moral compass or empathy. I felt like I was going to crawl out of my skin so I put on my sneakers, leashed the pup and headed to park. No podcast, no music, no audiobook. Just some peace.

Peace of trees.
Peace of water.
Peace of movement.
Peace of breath.

She looks positively haunted by her vote. As she should. It should haunt her for the rest of her life. Even Susan F*cking Collins did the right thing for once.

I am floundering. I searched for tips on revising a novel and came across this spreadsheet based on the snowflake method. It’s helping me carve out some clarity. Onward!

Share any novel revising tips. I haven’t yet outlined anything. I am generally a pantser who later turns toward plotter🤷‍♀️

As a rule I avoid commenting on anyone’s appearance but I am so sick to death of Kardashian Mar-a-Lago face. The aspirational conformity of the plastic surgery work is a whole form of violent oppression as farmed out to the masses, and particularly young women. No one needs a fucking lip flip.
Ok now I understand. Anna Wintour took one look at this and quit.

Read this in the latest issue of “Writer’s Digest.” Needed to read her take on writing amidst chaos. Words are healing. The right words reach me exactly when I need them. Words are magic.

We won’t amplify it, but the president posting that Dems are “sick of mind” and “hate our country” immediately after 2 Dem lawmakers and their spouses were shot in their homes is the opposite of leadership. Gas on the fire.

my takeaway from this feature is that in a functioning political system there would be televised congressional hearings over the fact that one of the most influential people in the white house is a total maniac www.newyorker.com/magazine/202...
Curtis Yarvin’s Plot Against America
The reactionary blogger’s call for a monarch to rule the country once seemed like a joke. Now the right is ready to bend the knee.

Marissa Rothkopf @marissarothkopf.bsky.social shared this green sauce recipe on her Substack a year ago—before The Contrarian even existed.
It’s simple, adaptable, and turns even the dullest dinner into something worth craving.

Exactly.

China made ZERO concessions and American consumers will still have to pay a 30% import tax, driving up prices.

It’s just the latest proof that Trump is a TERRIBLE negotiator.

Excellent question. What the fuck ARE we doing?
The president has covered the Oval Office in gold, is planning a massive military parade for his birthday, and is now accepting $400,000,000 luxury planes from foreign powers as personal presents.

What the fuck are we doing here?

AOC: This administration — and Noem — spits on the American flag every time they engage in that nonsense. So I don’t want to hear anything about “America First.” These people, and this administration, are putting America last by acting like their allegiance is to a man instead of the Constitution.
