This is bad. Very, very bad. Kenna’s cystostomy port came out. Detached from her body. I have a call in to the vet in DC. I can’t afford another bill for her right now. This sucks. :(

We had our first snow today. The snowflakes were fluffy, lazily drifting down. 4 hours later they were small projectiles, whirling in crazed asymmetrical spirals. By sunset the sky was clearing above the blanket of white.

Winter knows that every year I greet its snowy arrival with this attitude…
