More lilac photos, because even in the rain, you should stop and smell the lilacs. And yes, as with all my flower posts, I mean that both literally and figuratively. #mindfulness #lilacs #flowers #nature

May you be as bright and vibrant and totally you as irises in bloom! My daily walk always includes taking time for flowers! I think flowers may be my best teachers about how to create a life well lived. #nature #flowers #mindfulness

Some people like a manicured lawn, and perhaps the order it represents. I choose a field of dandelions, for their wild beauty, their strength and utility, and wish-power! The beauty we choose says something about the kind of life we choose to live. #nature #flowers #mindfulness #wildflowerlife

On our walk, my mom and I stopped to enjoy a fragrant field of lilacs. #mindfulness in #nature To survive in a difficult world we must notice the moments of joy! #joy

Nature offers so many opportunities for #mindfulness and #presentmoment #awareness. Like these candy cane tulips that made me stop in joy today! Stop and notice the beauty in your world.

if you made art this year, you did well. a sketch, even if it was scrapped ; a poem, even if it was deleted — mattered. you put thought to paper, you engaged with the creative alchemy of turning feeling to something tangible. doesn't matter if you weren't productive "enough." or good "enough."
