Mum just spent the last £109 she has on getting a flu and covid jab, even though we have home insurance to pay. I don't get paid until next month, and I have no money left. Eep.

I kinda question the NHS having 20 people in a room, waiting to get their flu/covid jabs, because it seems a way to spread infection. And a lot of people are struggling to stand in this queue.

I'm paying off mum's bills, and since she lost her phone, she wants a new one with the same number, and to contact ee, who always make her pay for stuff we don't need.
I'm annoyed at her. She knows it, so now she's "maybe you'll get lucky and the operation I'm going to get will kill me." FFS!

Internet has stopped working since mum accidentally knocked it. Our kitchen ceiling has been leaking for a week due to the bathroom above it, but insurance won't send a plumber. I think I'm calling it a day.

I've finally deleted twitter off my phone, so might be more active on this site. Will rely on this site for most of my news. Scary reality, but hopefully filtered through good people.

That's insane. I'm grateful for the heads up because I try to keep the minimum in my account. Without this, I wouldn't have known to transfer extra. Feels like info we should have been told before.
Update:
I've stayed in so many hotels over the years and I've never been charged an insane preauthorisation charge before.
Thankfully I have enough funds that I should be okay but this never came up once during the booking process

I may have packed too many beads for #RDC7. Bag weighs a tonne! At least I can make some bracelets on the train. I never feel prepared enough.
