The 5th anniversary of Cyberpunk marks 5 years since I got covid, and was too ill to play it (had annual leave booked and everything).

It always blows my mind when I come across posts like this. People who as an adult I follow due to my interest in games have a connection to the (quite lovely really) little town I grew up in.
I know Leamington is a bit of a games industry hub, but even so, it's 4th wall breaking.

I'm now further than I got when I didn't realise I was pregnant! Taken longer than last time but that's life with a toddler. I can run for 20 mins again! Go me 🏃♀️
Restarted Couch to 5k today. I haven't ran since I found out I was pregnant just over 3 years ago. I'm a good 10kg+ heavier than I was back then. I don't know if its having a baby, losing my gallbladder, age or other but it's time to do something about it 🏃♀️💪

I've been purging my inbox of marketing emails (unsubscribing).
I'm at a point now where I usually only recieve useful emails. I find myself checking my inbox regularly (time to enable push not pull notifications?).
It feels weirdly lonely there now. Modern life has done strange things to the brain.

Next week is my last 4 days of work before Christmas and New Year. It's the first time in years I've been genuinely excited for it. I guess that's what having a (mischievous) toddler does. Kids are definitely the magic sprinkles of Christmas 🎄✨️
