The Doctoral researchers in our Horizon MSCA network on The International Dimensions and Effects of Populism kicked off their coursework this week, with none other than Cristóbal Rovira Kaltwasser as inaugural guest lecturer!
An exciting week comes to an end: on Tuesday, we had the first session of our lecture series on #populism in the IDEoPOP MSCA doctoral network! Many thanks to Cristóbal Rovira Kaltwasser for delivering the first lecture in the series!!

So once again, the narrative is more complicated than Vance bad, EU good. Vance most certainly is bad. But the case for the EU is arguable, given its adoption of the far-right's agenda on migration and its willingness to ignore many of Meloni's excesses in return for "good behavior" on Ukraine.
