Grisham is $22m that won't be spent elsewhere for another lefty bat that is blocking every day ABs from either Jasson or Jones. Or it means they're out on Belli or Tucker.
Assuming the org wants to stay under $300m this is a pretty big blocker for building out and improving the rest of the roster

If any of the right handed SP Cease Woodruff Kelly Giolito Gallen end up signing a 1 year deal without the QO attached then the Yankees would be FOOLS not to be the ones to give it to them.
