UnitedHealth secretly pressured nurses to change patients' records to include DNRs (Do Not Resuscitate) without their consent, so those patients would die instead of being saved with medical interventions that could cost UnitedHealth money.

I agree. Too many have an all or nothing attitude and give up if changes aren’t immediate. It’s a marathon not a sprint. I’m thankful those before us were more resilient bc wouldn’t have any rights if they acted the same way. 😭

stop telling yourself “that’s against the law.” Laws only have meaning when they are enforced. He wouldn’t be president if they were. Remember that and stop stressing yourself out.

Black people learned this a long time ago. But the sooner you reckon with it, the sooner you come to terms with how much power you as an individual actually has. The only way out is through.

No one is coming to save you. And I know this hard to hear, but it’s the truth. Tap into whatever inner strength it’s going to take, but no one is coming to save you. Not our politicians, not whatever leaders we thought we had, no one. So figure out what YOU can do to help and start there.

Listen I have a few adolescent clients and the kids are going to be alright. Because of social media they see right through the bullshit. I can’t imagine seeing through the bullshit that early in life, I would’ve been unstoppable lol
