Exactly what line does America have to cross before we (re:you) stop desperately trying to appease Trump?

If any other nation pulled what they have in just the last year (hell, week) we would be sanctioning and closing out borders to them.

Who thought having a get-out-of-constitution-free card was a good idea?
You know what would be scary right now?

If the U.S. had something like Canada’s Notwithstanding Clause, a constitutional escape hatch that lets legislatures override certain rights for five years at a time.

Yes, that really exists in Canada.

One of my pet peeves with Canadian politics is the way we seem to demand an itemized how-will-we-pay plan from a party promising a social service, but a promise to cut-red-tape or lower taxes doesn't have to specify which red tape or which services will be cut to pay for the tax break.

I think Canada has to step up and become a sanctuary to those being targeted by Trump.

These "deportations" to El Salvadorian prisons sound a lot like concentration camps but with more steps.

Another engaging, yet enraging, banger of a video by @climatetown.bsky.social

Turns out people shouldn't get their info about renewables from a Billy-Bob Boomer-Drama? Wild!

looking back, AOL had it right. 30 hours of internet per month was the right amount.
