this scene! happens right after sqq wakes up from the dream maze where lbh was ripping at his clothes bc he was wearing gyx’s robe lol

Shen Qingqiu decided to "borrow" someone else's clothes to wear. But, as soon as he'd finished "borrowing" them, flipping over the wall and landing on solid ground, he turned and saw a few people, staring at him while doing nothing else.

You truly couldn't avoid your enemies; they were actually the couple of disciples from a miscellaneous sect he'd seen while wandering the roads during the festival last night. He'd yet to say a word, when the leader immediately flashed his blade and yelled fiercely, "Shen Qingqiu, so you were in this city! Today, us disciples of the Ba Qi Sect will enact justice on behalf of the heavens!"

Truly such an authentic and standard actor's line. But why say you're enacting justice on behalf of the heavens or whatever; didn't you say it was for Huan Hua Palace's reward just yesterday?

What's the point of saying one thing to my face but another behind my back?

Also what is this Ba Qi Sect, never heard of it before!

Shen Qingqiu didn't want to waste time on them. He slapped out a couple of freshly-baked talismans in succession, one on each person's forehead, and their limbs went stiff, without even the chance to block.

He was in a bad mood: after he finished slapping on the talismans, he leisurely made a "ripping" motion with his hands.

The next minute, those couple of disciples found their bodies moving against their will.

"Why are you tearing my clothes?!"

"Aren't you tearing mine too?!"

"Shixiong, I'm sorry! But I can't control my hands!"

Shen Qingqiu patted the plain white robes he'd just changed into and walked away without a backwards glance.

i always feel bad for the qing jing disciples that deal with sqq’s absence from the peak post abyss, his subsequent arrest, and then he shows up to briefly help them all and then DIES 15 MINUTES LATER
