Love the feeling of walking down a usually busy street on Christmas Day. Everything is pleasantly vacant compared to the hellish 3 days of extra traffic preceding Christmas.
A breeze would be appreciated however. It’s way too bloody hot.

Started playing my first ever horror game and I’ve come to the realisation that I’m a far bigger wuss than I thought I was.

Forgot how awesome Hearts of Stone was. Easily the best vibes in the entirety of The Witcher 3.

SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL OP SHOPS!!!!
If you have a free day this week call your op shop and ask if they need help with anything. Help move boxes or shelves around. Maybe take rubbish to the transfer station.
A lot of op shops are run entirely by volunteers so take an hour and help out your community.

Why do I consume caffeine in the evening like I don’t have to wake up and engage with society next morning?

I’ve been thinking about Josiah Bancroft’s Books of Babel recently. I really should finish the series.

I work in a restaurant in a very small town and interacting with the community is so fun. My social life just a couple years ago was nonexistent due to my crippling social anxiety, but now I genuinely love interacting with people. I’ve had so many good conversations over the past few days alone.

I had such a good day at work today. We got two large bookings at the same time which normally would be hell but all the customers were so sweet. They even cleaned up after themselves and moved the tables back.

James Marsters is so freaking good in The Dresden Files. I would not have enjoyed the series nearly as much without him narrating.

My goal in life is to get as much people around me into different forms of nerd culture. Specifically my sister. I’ve managed to get her into books, anime, and recently video games. Now on to corrupt my next victim.

Guy Gavriel Kay is such an incredible author. It’s such a shame that he isn’t known much outside the sci-fantasy space. His books are so beautiful and melancholic.
Tigana and The Lions of Al-rassan are such good autumn reads.
