The titular Paper Menagerie (short story) is available for free online, is only 15 pages long, and gives you a good taste of his writing. Unfortunately I don’t see him talked about much outside the sci-fi/fantasy community which is an absolute shame.

I would like to take this opportunity to recommend you read some of the stories by Ken Liu, the translator for the Three Body Problem and Death’s End. He has a couple of fantastic short story anthologies, my favourite being The Paper Menagerie.

I have so many but my all time favorite show has to be Gintama. I've never seen a show be so stupid but so sincere in its messaging. No other show I've watched has made me feel such a wide range of emotions. It's one of the few pieces of media I genuinely think about everyday.

I find that Pulp Fiction is so much more fun to watch if you subscribe to the fan theory that the briefcase contains Marsellus Wallace's soul. Or the absolutely deranged but fun theory that ties into The Lord of the Rings and Santa Claus (slatestarcodex.com/2017/12/26/a...).
