Don't bother arguing about whether ICE is a police force or a military force. It's neither. It behaves as a disorganized, violent mob, cursing, shouting contradictory orders, and attacking unarmed citizens on a whim. It is deployed to create fear and chaos, not to enforce laws or establish order.

Political violence is always immoral and always counterproductive for a healthy democracy. It solves nothing. It only leads to further violence and ultimately enables scapegoating of vulnerable communities. Committing acts of violence against those who disagree with us helps no one.

How are people staying functional right now? I do my job everyday but the chores—no, really anything that doesn’t directly benefit my kids—feels like it takes way too much energy to accomplish. Getting back to my super regulated self is getting harder and harder.
