Given the literal definition of deportation is removing a foreigner or noncitizen from the country, we - journalists, media orgs - should probably all stop referring to the ‘deportation’ of a 2 year old US citizen. It’s NOT a deportation.

Thank you for sharing this it is so true and we need to continue to remind the Americans suffering from systemic ignorance. Ignorance that has been passed down through generations and has now led us to this horrible situation. The way we got here was by denying the Holocaust ever happened.
